This is the view from a scenic lookout over Agawa Bay before sunrise. I cropped out the moon but you can see its glow on the water with a huge bank of fog that stretched across the entire bay. f7.1, 0.8s, 70mm, ISO 320.

There was a great full moon last night so I hurried home, grabbed my gear and got a few photos in The Beach before the clouds rolled in around 11 PM. Camera data: ISO 100, 190 seconds at f11, 17-40@20mm, tripod. Even with the noise reduction turned on there is a fair bit of noise in the bottom half of the photo.

A pier light down at Bluffers Park Marina. The moon was almost full last night and the clear skies made it perfect for some night photography. I’m not happy about the framing (horizon cutting through the centre of the image) but I like how the moonlight makes the rocks in the foreground appear to be covered in snow. Tripod, f4, 30s, ISO 100.
