Recollet Falls on the French River

Recollet Falls on the French River. I like that the granite rock in the foreground provides some strong lead in lines to this photo. The shape of the rock is also very similar to the shape of the sky providing a nice symmetry. I didn’t notice this when I made the photo, just that the framing felt right. Taken August 12, 2008. f22 at 1/30s, 17mm.
